Agreeing with Mr. Macpherson's argument regarding the identity of Thomas of Learmounth (i.e., Thomas the Rhymer); discussing the traditions of the "Scoto-Celtich Bards concerning Merlin" and other aspects of the Arthurian universe, and noting that "Marlin is the only one of the four Bards of Britain whose memory has survived among common people." Asking for copies of some specific poems in the British Library.
